Inspro-anono

The next victim of my fashion crimes. Thou shalt never ask to be dressed as ones girlfriend otherwise thou's wish shalt be granted. Pretty bow blouse and Waterfall skirt, my god it felt strange to be designing womenswear again, strangly liberating experience securing my love for menswear trying to incorporate his skinny bod onto my notoriously hench male croquis.
So what does Ben think of his new look? We'll never know, I'm hoping he's the lighthearted kind that wouldn't take my interpretation of his muse too seriously, and would see the funny side. If not then... sorrys!

inspro-agogo

Lew, the 28 year old Record Store worker in Camden, described his look as classic Punk. The very first of my street style targets, chosen for being the only original styled man in the strip of stalls, steering away from chinos and a pinstripe shirt I knew that he would have his own style, and eat it too! - no pun intended - and so staying true to his form, Here's my re-invention of his punk inspired attire...

Poster Painted and Duct Taped Slogan

Beige Shirt - Black Bow TIE
Taking a traditional beige, dated shirt then - in keeping with the theme, painting in heavy poster paints the words 'SHIRT, + and SIR' in blood red and duct taping the 'TIE' through the middle... completely with a dicky-bow tie, black naturally
Trousers, tight fitting, so tight theyve been ripped at the seams causing some bare leg to expose itself.

Ripped Ultra-Skinny Jeans and Thigh-High Boots. hawt.

Finished beautifully with THESE SHOES, over-the-knee leg tight Dr Martens (fictional for the purpose of my design) in a khaki green with bright red laces, probably the ones he has on in the original picture, no need to waste them...
So there you have it, the wonderful world of Lucy Severe and her dreams of menswear design
Cheers LEW!

STREETSTYLE

I know its been a long time coming, but here we go.
Recently on a trip to london town too the most gorgeous farbic shop CLOTH HOUSE LDN...
I found myself visiting with alterior motives...
Street Styling, an idea I had had a long while ago, snap the best of the bunch in the menswear scene, then go on to design my own look for them uploading both the products onto here for all to see.
SO what did I find?

NAME : Lew - AGE: 28 - INSPIRATION FOR LOOK (in one word): PUNK

NAME: Jacques - AGE: 19 - ISPRIATION FOR LOOK: 'LONDON TRENDS' (Foreign Student)

NAME: Harry - AGE: 29 - INSPIRATION FOR LOOK: The 80's

NAME: Ben - AGE: 24 - INSPIRATION FOR LOOK: Borrowed from my Girlfriend awww

So there they are, Camden's finest, must say I was a tad dissapointed with the Fashion Talent out in force on said day, maybe the various fashion's of LDN town were all hard at work that day? Who knows, all in all it has given me a small insight into the wonderfull world of the not-so-ordinary men out there. WHERE ARE YOU ALL.?!

Hopefully through visiting different cities and new scenes, I can find more unlikely-like minded gentlemen and embarras them into letting me photograph them with promises of stardom, or something like that...
In the next few posts I will re-upload each image of the men alongside my own designs, what they think of my ideas we may never know, beautiful isn't it?

KNITwhere?

So here it is - moment of truth, my work of KNIT... here are work in progress images whilst I still work on the editting of the videos that were shot whilst I put up my knitting, after about half an hour of hard graft, and putting all my previous 'Ladder Training' in to good practice... there it was, admittidly not 100% complete, as for the first night I didn't trust my sign and glasses to last. So, the following day we ventured back out and the finishing touches.. and another half an hour or so later, we were complete! It was a beautiful feeling to finally have all I'd been working on for the past month or so up on the tree, fitting all purposes, and now as one door closes, I can open 12 million more, so many ideas, so little time!

Hope you all love my creations ;)

The Giantess

As the knitting sensation that has overcome my life ATM continues, its all gone industrial.
Using old broom handle halfs as needles the knits massive, perfect for my tree and perfect for my 'grandad jumper' design I'm going to bomb onto it. Tried documenting me knitting with the beasts, and this was the best I could do...
Where the needles are yet to have points, you have to do a lot of the knitting using both hands, sore thumbs a plently it does take some determination to knit for longer lenths of time.

Also took a few close ups of the knit itself, and of the mass needles... unfortunately this is still very much work in progress and needs to be about 8x the size of what it is currently, its gunna be a hell of a lot of blood sweat and tears no doubt, but it'll all be worth it once its all put together.
